What syringes should I be using with Safe-Point?
Safe-Point should only be used with the metal aspirating and self-aspirating dental syringe. These are readily available from dental and podiatry distributors or can be purchased direct from Safe-Point Healthcare. Email or call +44 (0)1295 816888 for further information on syringes.
What needles can I use with Safe-Point?
A list of compatible needle types is provided with your Safe-Point machine. Alternatively see Compatible Needle Types. Safe-Point will not remove needles with a metal hub or needles from plastic lure slip syringes.
What if I have difficulty setting up my Safe-Point?
Should you have any problems setting up your Safe-Point unit, first refer to the ‘Trouble Shooting Guide’
in the Safe-Point SP100 Instruction Leaflet. If you are unable to resolve the problem or have further queries email us now or call +44 (0)1295 816888 for further guidance.
Does my Safe-Point require regular servicing?
It is a good idea to have your Safe-Point unit serviced every year to ensure continued reliability. We will inspect the whole machine and replace worn parts where necessary. Contact our Service Department or call +44 (0)1295 816888 to arrange your service.
Where can I buy replacement Safe-Point sharps bins?
Replacement sharps bins are available from Safe-Point Healthcare or any of the following distributors:-

Clinical Waste: Alco Healthcare Who will collect my filled Safe-Point sharps bins?
Safe-Point sharps bins are collected by your usual clinical waste collection contractor. Most clinical waste collection firms are aware of the Safe-Point sharps bins and you should experience a smooth introduction.
